# How It Works — EnzRossi

EnzRossi takes a company from "we need an engineer" to "they're shipping with our
team" in roughly 3 business days. Here's the full process.

---

## Overview

The process has four stages:

1. Scope the role
2. Source and vet candidates
3. Shortlist and select
4. Onboard and ship

Most clients receive their first shortlist on day 3. Trial period is 2 weeks.
Month-to-month after that.

---

## Stage 1 — Scope (Day 1)

You fill out a briefing form (or have a 30-minute call with an account manager).
We capture:

- Role and seniority (junior / mid / senior / lead)
- Required tech stack (primary languages, frameworks, tools)
- Team context (size, structure, current stack, how the team works)
- Timezone requirements (full overlap needed or async-friendly?)
- Start date and engagement type (augmentation / squad / project)
- Nice-to-have skills and domain experience

The account manager reviews the brief and asks follow-up questions within a few
hours if anything is unclear.

---

## Stage 2 — Source and Vet (Days 1–3)

We search the vetted database of 3,000+ engineers first. If the right profile
is immediately available, we move straight to shortlisting.

If the exact profile isn't in the database, sourcing begins immediately from:
- Partner networks (universities, bootcamps, dev communities across LATAM)
- Referrals from placed engineers
- Direct outreach to passive candidates

Every candidate goes through the five-dimension vetting process before being
presented to a client:

1. Technical screen — architecture, live coding, code review
2. Behavioral interview — ownership, communication, ambiguity handling
3. English assessment — structured B2+ evaluation
4. AI tool fluency check — practical Copilot/Cursor/Claude workflow demo
5. Cultural alignment check — US team norms familiarity

This stage takes 1–2 days for in-database candidates, 3–5 days for sourced ones.

---

## Stage 3 — Shortlist and Select (Day 3)

You receive 2–4 anonymized candidate profiles. Each profile includes:

- Seniority level and years of experience
- Tech stack and primary skills
- Assessment summary across all five dimensions
- Availability and preferred start date
- Salary expectation range

You choose which candidates to interview. EnzRossi schedules and facilitates.
Most clients run a 45–60 minute technical interview and a short culture conversation.

You pick the engineer. EnzRossi handles the offer and contract.

---

## Stage 4 — Onboard and Ship

**Week 1–2: Trial period**
The engineer is set up in your tools: Slack, GitHub, Jira, or whatever your stack
uses. They attend standups, start contributing, and integrate with the team.

If the fit is wrong within the first 2 weeks, EnzRossi replaces the engineer at
no additional cost. No questions asked.

**After trial: Month-to-month**
The engagement continues month-to-month. You can scale up (add engineers), scale
down (remove engineers), or end the engagement with 30 days notice.

---

## Guarantees

- **Shortlist SLA**: First profiles delivered within 3 business days of scoping.
- **Replacement guarantee**: Wrong fit in the first 30 days? We replace, no charge.
- **Communication SLA**: Account manager responds within 4 business hours.
- **No lock-in**: Month-to-month after the 2-week trial. 30-day exit notice.

## What the Engineer Brings

Every placed engineer has already completed EnzRossi's preparation program:

- US team communication norms (async-first, direct feedback, no hand-holding)
- AI tool integration: practical workflows with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude
- Status update structure: how to communicate blockers, progress, and decisions
- Cultural alignment: what US startup and scaleup teams actually expect

This preparation supports AI-ready teams: people who can use AI in everyday engineering
tasks and judge its output. Continuous training continues during the engagement;
human review, testing, and sign-off remain part of delivery.

## Engagement Types

### Staff Augmentation
One or more engineers embedded in an existing US team. Works in client tools,
attends client standups, reports to client engineering manager.
Best for: teams that need to extend capacity without changing structure.

### Dedicated Squads
A complete squad: tech lead, 2–4 engineers, optionally a designer. Managed by
EnzRossi. Delivers sprints to client product leadership.
Best for: parallel workstreams, new product lines, or teams without an eng manager.

### Project-Based
Fixed-scope build. Defined deliverables, timeline, and milestones. EnzRossi
assembles the team and manages delivery.
Best for: one-time builds, migrations, prototypes.

## Pricing

Rates are custom-quoted based on role, seniority, and engagement type. No published
prices — too many variables to give a meaningful average. Most engagements are
structured as a monthly rate per engineer.
