CAMPINAS
Hire developers in Campinas
Unicamp's home city. Brazil's strongest concentration of CS research graduates and enterprise tech talent.
Campinas: Unicamp's talent engine
Unicamp: Brazil's MIT equivalent
The State University of Campinas is consistently ranked in the global top 100 for CS. Its graduates include founders of major Brazilian tech companies and engineers at Google, Meta, and Nubank.
Tech corridor between SP and RJ
Campinas sits in Brazil's richest tech corridor. Many Brazilian subsidiaries of global tech and telecom companies (Motorola, Samsung, Ericsson) have R&D operations here.
Research-grade technical depth
Engineers from Unicamp tend to have stronger theoretical foundations than most. If you need someone who can solve hard algorithmic problems or architect complex systems, the Campinas pool is worth prioritizing.
Close proximity to São Paulo's market
Campinas is 100km from São Paulo. Many engineers work remotely for São Paulo companies, which means they're already integrated into the São Paulo professional culture and expectations.
