Hire developers in Lima
Peru's tech hub and one of LATAM's most competitive hiring markets. UTC-5 alignment, PUCP graduates, and competitive rates.
Lima's case for global engineering teams
Full EST timezone alignment
Lima runs UTC-5 year-round. Same as Colombia, Peru doesn't observe daylight saving time. Full overlap with US East Coast teams without any adjustment.
PUCP and UNI
Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and the National University of Engineering produce strong CS and systems engineering graduates. PUCP is considered one of the top universities in the Andean region.
Very competitive rates
Peru's lower cost of living compared to Brazil, Argentina, and Chile means rates are among the most competitive in LATAM, without compromising engineering quality at mid-to-senior levels.
Growing fintech and retail tech scene
BCP, Interbank, and several major Peruvian fintechs have invested heavily in engineering talent. Lima's tech community has real production experience with financial systems and high-volume consumer platforms.
