Get UI/UX Designers
Product designers who do research, create wireframes, build design systems, and hand off production-ready Figma files. LATAM has a strong design community with solid English communication and US product market context.
Senior product designers in LATAM cost $50-80k vs $130-180k in the US. Design talent at a significant cost difference without the UX maturity gap.
LATAM designers frequently work on products targeting US users. They understand US UX conventions, accessibility expectations, and product market fit signals.
Design work requires clear communication with PMs, developers, and stakeholders. LATAM designers in our network work in English fluently, including async annotation and design critique.
4-8 hours of daily overlap with US teams. Design work benefits from synchronous reviews, user research discussions, and real-time Figma collaboration.
LATAM has strong design education, from traditional design schools to modern UX bootcamps. Many designers also have HCI or psychology backgrounds.
Every candidate completes all five stages before you see their profile. You can also run your own technical round after our screening.
We review their design portfolio in depth: 2-3 case studies covering the design process from research to final delivery. We look for documented problem-solving, not just polished screens. We assess visual quality, UX judgment, and documentation clarity.
A structured conversation about how they've handled conflicting stakeholder feedback, advocated for users under business pressure, and collaborated with developers on implementation-constrained designs. We assess communication clarity and professional maturity.
A take-home design challenge (2-4 hours): redesigning or improving a specific UI problem. We evaluate problem framing, layout decisions, accessibility choices, component thinking, and quality of the handoff documentation. We follow up with a live critique session where candidates walk us through their decisions.
We verify employment history, education credentials, and identity documents.
We speak with at least two former colleagues or managers. We ask about collaboration quality with engineers, communication clarity, and how they handle design feedback.
After our screening, you can optionally run your own technical round before making an offer.

Designers who produce beautiful screens that developers can't build, or that users don't understand, aren't actually useful. Ours design with implementation and user cognition in mind. They communicate their decisions clearly and handle critique without ego.
AI tools (Figma AI, Midjourney, DALL-E) for generating mood boards, UI variations, and icon sets quickly. They use AI to explore options, not as a substitute for design judgment.
AI-assisted user research synthesis: using AI tools to analyze interview transcripts and identify patterns across qualitative data more efficiently.
They write design annotations in Figma that developers can follow without a Zoom call. Handoffs are self-documenting.
They participate in sprint planning and flag design complexity before development estimates are set.
They own accessibility from the start: contrast ratios, focus states, and touch targets are part of their design checklist, not a review step.
