About the Role

You will design the interfaces and experiences that users interact with every day. That means research, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and a maintained design system. You think in user flows, not just screens. You back up design decisions with data and user feedback, not just gut feeling.

Responsibilities

Conduct user research: interviews, usability tests, survey analysis, and heuristic evaluations
Create wireframes, user flows, and information architecture for new features
Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes in Figma
Build and maintain a design system with reusable components, tokens, and documentation
Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and with engineers to ensure accurate implementation
Analyze user behavior data (heatmaps, session recordings, funnel analysis) to identify UX problems
Iterate on designs based on feedback from usability testing, A/B test results, and stakeholder reviews

Requirements

3+ years of UI/UX design experience for web or mobile products
Expert-level Figma skills: auto layout, variants, component libraries, prototyping
Portfolio showing end-to-end design work: from research and wireframes to final shipped product
Understanding of accessibility standards: WCAG 2.1, color contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility
Experience designing responsive layouts for web and mobile
Familiarity with design handoff workflows: Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, or similar
Ability to articulate design decisions clearly to non-design stakeholders
Clear written and verbal communication in English

Nice to Have

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and React component structure
Experience with motion design: Lottie animations, Framer Motion specs, or After Effects
Familiarity with data visualization design for dashboards or analytics products
Experience running design sprints or facilitating collaborative workshops

Figma for design, prototyping, and design system management
AI-assisted design tools (Figma AI, Galileo, or similar) for rapid exploration and iteration
Miro or FigJam for research synthesis, journey mapping, and workshops
Jira, Linear, or similar for tracking design tasks alongside engineering sprints
Maze, Hotjar, or UserTesting for usability testing and behavior analysis
Loom for async design reviews and walkthroughs
Notion or Confluence for design documentation and decision logs
