The challenge
The client is one of the largest online education platforms in Latin America, with millions of students and a product roadmap that outpaced their hiring capacity. They needed to scale engineering across multiple product lines simultaneously: student engagement features, teacher tools, content management, mobile experiences, analytics dashboards, and infrastructure modernization. Internal recruiting couldn't keep up. They needed a partner who could provide entire squads, not just individual developers.
Our solution
Over 24 months, we grew from placing 3 developers to staffing more than 10 squads. Squad sizes vary based on the initiative: some have close to 10 people, others are a single specialist. Each squad includes the right mix of developers, designers, QA engineers, and product owners for its scope. The squads operate autonomously within the client's product organization, each owning a specific product area. We handle recruiting, vetting, onboarding, and ongoing performance management. The client focuses on product strategy and direction.
