Who should use which
Companies that want high-quality individual placements with personal accountability, aren't hiring 20 people simultaneously, and want an account manager who's genuinely invested.
Enterprise organizations that need to scale a team rapidly across many roles at once and have internal capacity to manage the quality of individual engineers themselves.
Our honest take
BairesDev's scale is real and can be valuable for large enterprise programs. If you're placing 15+ engineers simultaneously, a large-scale provider makes operational sense. If you're placing 1–5 engineers and care about each one being prepared for your team culture, a smaller, more focused provider will usually outperform on quality per placement.

These are the things we look for that most staffing comparisons don't mention.
Scale solves supply.
If you need 20 engineers in 60 days, you need a large bench. That's a real business need and large staffing providers exist for it.
What scale doesn't solve is preparation.
A large talent pipeline can find technically qualified people quickly. It can't guarantee those people are ready to work effectively in your team's specific collaboration style, feedback culture, or AI-integrated workflow.
The engineers who make the biggest impact in product teams are the ones who communicate proactively, adapt quickly, and take ownership of problems rather than waiting for perfect specifications.
Those traits can be developed and screened for, but only if you're actually investing time in each individual engineer, which is harder at scale.
Our bet is that for most companies, one excellent prepared engineer is worth more than two technically adequate ones.
That's what we optimize for.
